Are We There Yet?

whoa many months since my last road entry! i feel like i have been on the road for the past two years. have not found "home" yet which i guess is a good thing but boy are my dogs tired!

life has been wild and fun and scary and charming and delinquent and inverse and up and down and for god sakes... are we there yet?

after having moved from marin county, ca. to mc cloud, ca. then mt. shasta , ca. then to etna, CA. i have worn wheels no thinner. i have met some wonderful people in siskiyou county particularly those in scott valley, california .

many tales to tell on tuesday nights at the "little rock chapel" a.k.a. corrigans in etna. jam nights as they are called. wholesome fun with a twist from dear johnny callahan. i have seen some beautiful country and have been inspired musically, having just penned a new tune called "whiskey, rum, brandy and beer."

i am now working on completing songs for my next cd release which should be out mid 2005. i have been enjoying small town life and would like to pass on a book to all titled "it takes a village idiot." premise: a couple who move from manhattan to the catskills. up here everyone knows what you ate for breakfast before you have actually eaten it.

my new women friends are strong, intelligent and hearty. i am thankful to them all for their openness of conversation and hospitality.

i am planning a summer tour up the california coast and working on launching a promotional campaign for the nancie de ross camp.

i have some good venues coming up which i will be performing in and am hopeful for a britt festival slot this summer.

thanks for reading and we will be back at you in a month or so.
